A Brilliant Brizo Beauty

I have a friend who recently switched out faucets in her kitchen. Since faucets have to do with plumbing, I figured I would let her share her story about her faucet today.

The following is told in her words:

Hello everyone! Today I'll be talking about my old and new kitchen faucet. I had an older American Standard faucet for my kitchen, and it was nice and all, but the chrome was scratching (it was about a decade old) and the faucet had a tendency to leak every 3 months. Well, as I mentioned before, it’s not a huge deal, but as I was wandering down the faucet isle with some friends earlier last week, I stopped to admire the newest faucets on the market. The sleek designs, killer curves, and brilliant finishes-—they were beautiful.

As I was looking around, I found a fantastic Brizo faucet, straight from the Virage collection. If you’ve ever seen a Brizo Virage faucet, you’ll understand how I felt. It was gorgeous, with sleek lines and a modern design, all perfectly coated with a dark bronze finish.

As nice as it was, it was too expensive for me (the faucet retails at over 600 dollars!), but it left a mark. I wanted it. When we arrived back at the hotel later that day (we were on a business trip), I decided to look up the faucet. I looked it up on amazon, ebay, and even straight from Brizo themselves, but they were all far too expensive. Finally, I ran across this whimsical little site: www.plumbersstock.com/. I was so impressed by the low prices (can you say over 40% in savings?) that I decided I would order it as soon as I got home. By then, I would have been paid from this trip and I would have some free time.

Yesterday, after 2 weeks of traveling on the road, I arrived home and found a package on my kitchen table. As soon as I opened it, to my bewilderment and excitement, I found that gorgeous Brizo faucet I had yearned for so much. My birthday had occurred while we were all on our trip, so as a bonus, my company had decided to call my co-workers and see if I had mentioned wanting anything. The faucet, apparently, was what they had said.

I had my son-in-law install it for me, and I must say, this faucet is absolutely breathtaking in beauty. It’s easily become the jewel of my kitchen, and I don’t know how I spent all my time content with my old faucet after using this one. It shines so beautifully and makes my kitchen sink look like something out of a magazine. Needless to say, I remodeled my kitchen after receiving my faucet, going for a minimal ‘industrial’ look with all aluminums and stainless steel and open spaces.

I’m very grateful for the new faucet. To any of you out there looking to upgrade your new faucet, I recommend checking out Brizo—they are the leaders in fashion faucets and they are committed to offering products that save water as well as money. In fact, in  they were given the WaterSense partner of the year award, which is a prestigious honor given to companies who not only make huge progress in the WaterSense program, but also design their products to have advanced water conservation features.
